Joey was born in Brooklyn, New York and has called Florida home since 1990. He grew up in Boca Raton, FL and began his radio career announcing video games while playing them. This is where he got the radio bug.
He attended and graduated UCF in 2007 with a degree in Communications and Marketing. He had his first radio job as a promotions assistant in Orlando. After Orlando, he moved onto Gainesville, FL, where he was a sports producer and nighttime DJ for Smooth Jazz 100.9. Joey made the trek back to Orlando in 2018 and has called the Wolf home ever since then.
Joey is married with a son. He is an avid sports fan, even most of his teams are never good. His true sports passion is hockey, and is a big fan of the Florida Panthers. Since attended UCF, Joey has loved the Knights more then anyone. He tore down the goal post in 2005, and has attended numerous road games throughout the years.
In his spare time, Joey enjoys doing everything around Central Florida. From theme parks to craft beer, restaurants to local hangouts, Joey loves all that Central Florida has to offer!
