Murph is a 20-year radio veteran, in which he has successfully branded himself in Long Island, NY, Greenville, SC, Richmond, VA, and Atlanta. Some of Murph’s accomplishments include; winning the Street Information Network “Medium Market Assistant Program Director/Music Director of the year”,
Billboard/Monitor “Assistant Program Director/Music Director of the year” award in 2003, and the Atlanta achievement in Radio “Award of Excellence” in 2008.
Murph has tackled many genres in radio during his tenure. Everything from CHR/Rhythmic, Dance, Sports Talk, and now Country. He has a passion for all genres, and is a sports “fanatic”. Growing up, Murph played Ice Hockey, Baseball, and continues to keep his competitive edge by playing both sports, recreationally now.
Murph has also generously donated his time and efforts throughout his career towards many charities, including being a honorary guest board member for the Women in Golf foundation, which help teach fundamentals of golf to the inner city children of Atlanta.
Murph is married with two wonderful kids – a 12-year old girl and one-year old boy!
