
Stevie was born and raised in a suburb of Baltimore, MD. He started his career at the young age of 16 at Top 40 WBSB (B104) in Baltimore where he served multiple roles from Research, to Promotions, and on-air. In the Fall of 1991, Stevie joined the start-up team at WERQ (92Q) in Baltimore. Over the 6 years served at 92Q, Stevie handled on-air responsibilities at night and then in afternoon drive.
In 1997, Stevie was recruited to Orlando, FL to handle nights on-air for WJHM (102 Jamz). Soon-after, he segued to afternoons and was promoted to Music Director for the station.
In 2000, Stevie accepted an on-air position at WJMN in Boston, Jam’n 94.5 where he was a top-rated talent for 2 years.
Stevie joined the WJHM team once again in 2002 as Program Director and lead the 102 Jamz brand as a top market performer for 5 consecutive years.
In 2007, Stevie joined the Cox Orlando team as Program Director for WPYO (Power 95.3). He spent 11 years in total with Cox Media Group and most recently served as Operations Manager of WWKA (K92.3), WCFB (Star 94.5), WPYO (Power 95.3), and WCFB-HD2 (107.3 Solo Exitos), and also handled the day-to-day Programming responsibilities for WPYO, WWKA, and WCFB-HD2.
Stevie’ work and reputation in his career has not gone unnoticed. Most recently, two of his teams efforts were recognized by nominations for Country and Urban Stations of the Year in the 2017 & 2018 Marconi Awards. Stevie led a team of talent that received the 2017 Gracie Award for their coverage of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Orlando. He’s also been recognized as one of the Best Programmers in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine, was a winner of Radio & Records Station of the Year in 2003, and nominated for Major Market On-Air Personality of the Year for R&R’s 1995 Industry Achievement Awards.
Stevie studied Business Management at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
