Lady A – What A Song Can Do
This country trio released What A Song Can Do (Chapter 1) on June 25th and today they released the full collection of songs! The What A Song Can Do album includes the 7 songs that were earlier released and seven more. The 14 song project features a massive collaboration on the song “Friends Don’t Let Friends” including Darius Rucker and label mates Thomas Rhett and Carly Pearce. Each of these artists have actually worked with Charles Kelley in a variety of ways and are close friends of the group. The trio, Charles Kelley, Hilary Scott and Dave Haywood also had a hand in writing 13 of the 14 songs! This album is the first since Ocean in 2019. Kelley recently stated “We’ve rediscovered our purpose, and it’s to entertain and spread a positive message – I really truly believe that. I want our legacy to be songs that make people feel good. But, I also think there’s more to our story that hasn’t been written yet.”
Hunter Hayes – Wild Blue (Complete)
This extension to Wild Blue (Part 1) is one fans have been waiting for! This extension of the original album features the long-awaited song “Tell Me”, which is a song that Hayes wrote alongside Barry Dean and the late Busbee. Hayes told People Magazine “This song and I have been on an emotional roller coaster. It’s about losing someone close and figuring out how and when to start over. It’s just been a really eye-opening experience to hear what happens when the mindset changes.” The music video for this song also dropped today!
Tenille Arts – Girl To Girl
Tenille Arts has released her 3rd full length album, Girl To Girl. Arts co-wrote the entire album with Ray Fulcher, Alex Cline, MacKenzie Porter, Brandon Ratcliff, Matt Stell, Allison Veltz Cruz, Parker Welling, and Ben Stennis. “These 13 songs were written as letters to my current and younger self,” Arts shared. “They are songs I wish I had when I was 15 and 16 years old. I wanted to write these like a big sister and share my experiences in hopes that people would feel less alone. Whether you’re 15 years old, my age, or older, I want you to feel seen. I want you to dance to these songs, cry to them, and feel all the feels!” This album is a love, heartbreak, and everything in between album. This album is home to her first number one single “Somebody Like That.”
Abby Anderson – Bad Posture
Abby Anderson is going through a personal reboot following her debut to the music scene in 2018. This singer songwriter realized that she was not being her most authentic self with the images she was sharing, so she made some changes. These changes definitely shines through the new music she is currently creating. Her new track, “Bad Posture,” is the first single from her new album due out early 2022! This song was co-written by Anna Vaus and it showcases the life lessons that helped her recognize and accept happiness. It fully embraces her past and present with a new sound that captures who she is as not only an artist and songwriter, but also a woman who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
Emily Brooke – Hungover You
Emily Brooke, a Florida native has had some success when it comes to TikTok and she released a new song entitled “Hungover You.” Brooke first entered the scene auditioning and making it to the Top 24 on American Idol! She is definitely one you should be watching out for! The Hungover You lyrics are great play-on words in comparing getting over someone.
