The company is launching a burger chain called Tasty Made and the first location will open this fall in Lancaster, Ohio.
The menu will include burgers, fries, and shakes.
"Chipotle has been focused on a long-term vision to change the way people think about and eat fast food," Steve Ells, founder and co-CEO of Chipotle, said in a release. "At the heart of that is our commitment to great quality ingredients and classic cooking techniques — traits that are absolutely necessary to make the best tasting food, and that can be applied to number of kinds of cuisine."
The company said the new restaurant chain will use "high-quality ingredients that are grown and raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the farmers who produce them."
Taco Bell just announced that they'll be testing new Cheetos Burritos starting in August. The beefy new burritos are stuffed with seasoned meat, buttery rice, a cheese sauce and everyone's favorite puffy cheese snack.
We have to say, it's kind of a relief that they're not Hot Cheetos for once.
DAYTONA BEACH — What started as a bloody attack in the heart of the city's tourist district ended in a love story.
A tourist from Kentucky was stabbed by a stranger in front of the Ocean Walk Shoppes during a confrontation over comments the stranger made about the tourist's daughter, police said.
According to an arrest report, tourist Steven Worthington was walking in front Ocean Walk, 250 N. Atlantic Ave., about 5 p.m. Monday. He was with his 12-year-old daughter, other relatives and his fiancee. Suspect John Debow came up behind the group and commented on the girl's body, police said.
Worthington, 35, turned around and asked Debow what he had said. Debow then replied, "You heard me mother (expletive deleted)."
Dominos did some research to find the nation's favourite date night for those who are in a relationship and here's why they are so popular.
Pizza and film at home- There's nothing quite like a big pile of carbs, cheese and tomato sauce with a move to make a night in. Food you can eat from your couch with no washing up- what better way to spend some downtime?
Going to the seaside- You get in your exercise quota for the day without it feeling like exercise- might I add- and finish your trip off with fish and chips- bliss!
Cooking a meal together- This is great opportuning to do something that will encourage conversation and teamwork and you get to eat your hard work afterwards- perfect!
Going for brunch- After a long lie in at the weekend- it feels like a treat because you are well rested and hungry but you don't want to wait until lunchtime!
Travelers and competitors at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil are not likely to contract the Zika virus during their stay or bring it back to their home countries, Yale University experts contend in a new report.
Fear of the mosquito-borne virus has led some athletes to skip the games, which start Aug. 5 in Rio de Janeiro. U.S. cyclist Tejay van Garderen withdrew from Olympic consideration because of the potential effects Zika infection could have on his pregnant wife. And a number of golf stars -- including Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen and Vijay Singh -- have also declined to participate.
All-time summer heat records keep buckling under the weight of rising global temps—a trend that hits home, literally and figuratively, when you receive your monthly air conditioning bill. Unfortunately, mistakes you’re making with your home AC may be undercutting its efficiency, effectiveness, and safety, experts say.
Someone has finally seen fit to combine the stunt-burger fad with the over-the-top-drink-garnish trend, and come up with the inevitable. The Bourbon Burgel is, as the name implies, a sesame-seed-bagel bacon burger with a shot of Bulleit nestled on top that has yet more bacon in it. It’s the creation of Adam Spencer, chef and owner of Chicken and Sons in Sydney,Australia.
Diners are limited to two of them, which is probably for the best: All told, the gut-busting sandwich contains American cheese, bourbon-soaked bacon, pickles, jalapeños, a good hunk of Angus beef, and a bourbon barbecue sauce. Beer-battered fries come on theside. At least the bourbon should help with thedigestion.
No need for any more expensive gifts, romantic breaks or big bouquets of flowers.
It seems the secret to a happy marriage is completely free – a good night’s sleep.
Psychologists have found that having seven or eight hours’ sleep a night means partners are less likely to focus on the negative aspects of their relationship and more inclined to think about the bigger picture.
Researchers at Florida State University say sleep also helps to restore function in the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that manages self control, which is thought to improve our perception of relationships.

Sex is good for a lot of stuff like burning calories and also feeling super great. Now sex may even be good for curbing your unruly appetite! A recent study by York University researcher Caroline Davis and colleagues at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health revealed that variants of the Oxytocin Receptor (OXTR) gene contribute to why some of us overeat or engage in episodes of binge eating.
So rather than “cleansing” your body with lemon water and cayenne pepper, you may want to consider finding ways to boost Oxytocin. Not sure how to do that? That’s what we’re here for! Besides dancing, singing Karaoke, and “treating a friend,” all things that typically involve non-diet approved food and booze consumption, you can actually just have lots of sex!
In some good news for people who do not exercise but still want to stay fit, researchers have claimed that taking a hot bath has similar benefits as work out.
During vigorous exercise, the body gets hot. The same thing happens while taking a hot bath, researchers said.
Steve Faulkner from Loughborough University in the UK followed 2,300 middle-aged male participants for 20 years on average.
Among the men who visited the sauna once a week, half died within the time period. Among those who visited the sauna two to three times in a week, only 38 per cent died, ‘Tech Times’ reported.
The findings suggest that increased sauna usage reduced the risk of death from stroke or heart attack. This could be because of the increased blood flow and reduced blood pressure that people get when going to a sauna, researchers said.
Saving the environment may require people to work shorter hours in the future, according to a United Nations report released Wednesday.
The report by U.N.'s International Resource Panel found the amount of raw materials extracted from the Earth has tripled over the last 40 years, fueled by a growing global middle class, and that will require a more efficient use of resources in order to avoid serious environmental consequences.
That increased efficiency will in turn lead to lower costs and higher economic growth which could hamper efforts to reduce overall demand, the report said.
A company in Japan only recently realized it was time to stop making Video Home System machines—commonly known as VHS.
Japan-based Funai announced earlier in July that it would cease production of its VHS player, which was sold under various brands worldwide. The company said it decided to cease production due to difficulties in acquiring components, according to Japanese-language Nikkei. The near non-existent market for the ancient home entertainment technology was also a factor.
Research has found that couples with similar drinking habits are happier than those with only one partner who drinks. The study, published in “The Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological Series,” involved married U.S. couples over age 50.
University of Warwick research indicates that eating more fruit and vegetables can substantially increase people's later happiness levels.
To be published shortly in the prestigious American Journal of Public Health, the study is one of the first major scientific attempts to explore psychological well-being beyond the traditional finding that fruit and vegetables can reduce risk of cancer and heart attacks.
According to the 2016 PEMCO Insurance Northwest Poll, almost three-quarters (71 percent) of Washington and Oregon drivers polled say they’re very or extremely likely to take action to help a dog trapped/left in a hot car.
But the poll finds drivers are less likely to lend a hand to fellow drivers in distress. Only about half (58 percent) say they’d help a driver stalled on the side of the road by stopping or calling 911.
How about you? Who would you be more likely to help in a time of need, a dog trapped in a hot car or a stranded motorist?
It's hot outside, but it's even hotter inside your shirt! Your armpits are greenhouses for bacteria that make you . . . aromatic. And those of us who live and work with you wish that you were less olfactorily noticeable.
Evan Scribner claims he’s now single after his girlfriend discovered he was “cheating” on her — thanks to the geolocation feature in the addicting scavenger hunt-style cellphone game.
Scribner told The Post his big mistake was playing the game after canoodling with an ex-girlfriend in Bushwick.
They say life begins at 40 - but you're going to have to live without clubbing, watching reality television or getting drunk in public.
A poll of 2,000 Brits found the majority believe wearing a football shirt should be avoided past the age of 42, and visiting Ibiza should be forbidden for those over 40.
According to the survey, women should not wear a mini-skirt past the age of 39, while men should stop wearing trainers at the age of 49.
Things are really floating for Andrés Muschietti’s two-part remake of Stephen King’s It. A few weeks ago, the filmmaker posted a few pieces of concept art and set photos for his adaptation, and now he’s gone ahead and unleashed a terrifying first look at Bill Skarsgård as the nefarious titular force, Pennywise.
The soon-to-be 26-year-old actor spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the “extreme character,” specifically its complicated mythos: “He’s not even a clown. I’m playing just one of the beings It creates,” he explained, adding: “What’s funny to this evil entity might not be funny to everyone else. But he thinks it’s funny.”
Last week, Nintendo and Niantic brought out "Pokémon Go," an augmented-reality smartphone game that has players exploring the real world to collect Pokémon and items and to battle other players.
From Mashable:
Thanks to the new addictive app Pokémon Go, millennial missed connections are on the rise.
A slew of Pokémon Go trainers posted missed connection ads on Craigslist for people they interacted with while playing the game. Let's help these hopeful souls find their Ash Ketchums.
A court ruling last week now means that the act of using someone else’s password to access an online service — including Netflix or HBO Go — without the authorization of the system’s owner may be considered a violation of federal computer law. But don’t panic: It’s not likely that subscription VOD providers will suddenly have the feds descend on people swapping their login credentials.
In a July 5 ruling in a case about a former employee at executive-search firm Korn Ferry, a three-judge panel of U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit found that sharing passwords without the authorization of the system’s owner is a crime that can be prosecuted under the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. That would potentially make millions of Americans “unwitting federal criminals,” according to a dissenting opinion by Judge Stephen Reinhardt as noted by Fortune.
It seems men really may have heads that are better suited to figures – or curves at least.
Scientists have found that men are able to remember more personal information about a woman they have just met if she has the right waist to hip ratio.
They were better able to recall details such as the woman's name, her age, her job, what her degree was, who her family are and about her hobbies, if she had what has been identified as the perfect figure.
School officials announced Thursday students' cellphones will no longer be allowed in class in Orange County schools starting this August. Orlando Sentinel education reporter Annie Martin reports.
One person’s fear is another one’s pleasure — at least when it comes to missing out.
A new survey from the food delivery app Yelp Eat24 suggests that “FOMO,” the fear of missing out on things, is being replaced by “POMO,” the pleasure of missing out on them.
FOMO is a real thing for some, according to the survey, which polled 2,000 adults age 18-54.
Nearly 16 percent of women and 18.55 percent of men admit worrying they are missing out on the fun others are having.
However, 55 percent of people make excuses to get out of attending social gatherings some of the time, and more than 16 percent do it often.
Although 55 percent of those surveyed said they opt out of social events because they just don’t feel like being around other people, 49 percent just don’t want to spend the money.
Americans spend more of their vacation time on their phones than they do relaxing by the pool
- Tech Necessity or FOMO? - 81% say their smartphone is their number one travel accessory, and 64% admit to looking at friends social media so they don't lose touch
- Social Gloaters - 50% of travelers admit to uploading photos to social media just to show off
- Facebook Face-Off - Men are three times more likely than women to be competitive Facebookers and compare their travel posts to others
- Tasty Food Over Tourist Attractions - Travelers search for local restaurants more than attractions
Perhaps you have noticed this on Instagram. A beautiful young woman posts a selfie with a specific pose: her fingers dangled in front of her mouth languidly. The fingers in front of the mouth would seem careless, like she wasn’t caught off guard for the photo before she had a chance to move her hand, but the oft-repeated nature of this trope indicates it’s actually extremely calculated. Let’s call this “fingermouthing.”
The type of beautiful young woman who you will tend to see adopt this pose is not just anyone. It’s typically someone with a lot of followers — eager fans who enjoy her outfits, her makeup, her style. Instagram models or those who might have been known in the late aughts as “style bloggers” but now just post to Instagram (stylegrammers?) have particularly favored this pose.
Before you laugh off the idea that a group of internet-savvy amateur fashionistas could create a posing trend totally independently from formal fashion magazines and photography, it would not be the first time. A few years ago, the crossed-ankle stance — informed by the ankle boot trend as well as style bloggers — was noticed by legendary New York Times street style photographer Bill Cunningham. In 2013, Mihn-Ha T. Pham, a professor of media studies who writes about fashion bloggers, explained in Hyphen magazine:
A Chicago nurse got a rude awakening Thursday afternoon when a man in her Portage Park neighborhood blew off his hand with a firecracker – a body part that was found hours later by the nurse’s dog.
Cheri Steigert normally works the overnight shift and was sleeping around 3:30 p.m. when she heard a large explosion and a scream.
She learned that a man had been injured in a fireworks explosion and lost at least two fingers. A few hours later, she learned it was even worse.
Steigert let her dog out in the yard, and it returned with something in its mouth and dropped the item – a bunny rabbit, she thought, at first.
“I came back out to pick it up, and I found out it was the other part of the young man’s hand,” she tells CBS 2.
Summer has officially arrived, which means three solid months of beers, barbecues, and beach vacations. But wait — what’s the perfect beer for lounging outside on a hot day after the lawn’s been mowed? Or what’s the best technique for grilling steak? And where’s the beach that offers maximum sunbathing with minimum crowds?
Face it: sooner or later, you’re going to have to turn to Ye Olde Search Engine to help you answer these tough summer-themed questions — that is, if you haven’t been doing your fair share of searching already.
What we search for reveals a lot about how we plan to spend our summer. Yahoo knows this for a fact: they’ve analyzed data from millions of searches and have discovered exactly where Americans plan to go, how they plan to get there, and where they plan to rest their heads when they’re there. They also know exactly what kind of novelty inflatable rafts people are looking for.
