See the Worst Dressed at the 2018 CMA Awards

The worst-dressed stars at the 2018 CMA Awards were, as usual, few and far between. But there is always an ensemble or two that — while we admire the effort — ends up being a swing and a miss. Unfortunately, bad fashion doesn't discriminate between genders; we had a few missteps on both sides this year.

And honestly, we get it. Who doesn't want to wear pajamas to an award show? Who among us hasn't considered a questionably bold print in a particularly vulnerable moment? But whether it's just an unflattering fit, an artistic choice gone wrong or simply a "what were they thinking?" moment, these stars graced the red carpet on country's biggest night wearing outfits that simply were not their best. Serial hitmakers and red carpet newcomers alike appear on this list — none of them immune to the draw of the memorable look on their stylist's vision board. But that doesn't mean we love them any less. We just would rather not stand next to them on this particular night ...

Carrie Underwood's Son Isaiah Wants His Mom All to Himself

By now, everyone knows that Carrie Underwood has a baby on the way—and "everyone" includes her firstborn, Isaiah, who is 3 and a half and not quite sure about this new-baby business. In fact, he might be called even a tad bit jealous of the new addition, before he or she even arrives.

As Underwood tells People, Isaiah has everything already worked out in his head regarding the dynamics surrounding his new sibling. "[He] told me recently that when the new baby comes that Daddy could have that baby and then he could be mine,” the singer relates.

Luke Bryan Set to Open 2018 CMA Awards With Performance, Special Guests

The 2018 Country Music Awards will kick off with a bang Wednesday (Nov. 14) when two-time Entertainer of the Year veteran Luke Bryan opens up the show performing his current single, “What Makes You Country.”

While that in and of itself is a treat for any country music lover, it gets even better—Bryan announced on Monday (Nov. 12) that he will be accompanied by a slate of rising stars, comprising the many styles that encompass country music as a whole.

Wondering just who these special guests might be? Bryan isn't about to spoil the surprise, but he does have some enticing words about it: “When we began talking about this performance I thought this would be a perfect time to share the stage with a few deserving artists who may not otherwise have an opportunity to be a part of the show,” he says.

Kane Brown and Wife Getting Pressure to Make Babies From an Unlikely Source

Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Jae, haven't even passed the one-month anniversary of their Oct. 12 wedding yet—but, as might be expected, the newlyweds are already getting the expected question: "When are you going to have a baby?"

That's a question one wouldn't be surprised to field from grandparents and aunties, but in Mr. and Mrs. Brown's case, the query came from an unexpected (and un-related) source. "Jason and Brittany [Aldean]," admits Brown, in an interview with Taste of Country.

Florida Georgia Line singer Brian Kelley and his wife own the Nashville-area store Tribe Kelley Trading Post, which offers clothes, jewelry, and home goods. They also own a good surveillance system, which came in handy Nov. 3, when a group of vandals tried to take down a teepee that resides in front of the shop.

Now, Kelley is offering $5000 for any valid information regarding the vandals, who were caught on camera disassembling and trying to make off with the structure around 1:30 a.m.that night. Kelley's post above contains several videos (swipe right) that clearly show the perpetrators, including one in which a lone vandal is left to deal with breaking down the teepee poles.

Walker Hayes' Shania Twain Imitation Is Good, But She Says It's Missing Something

We all know Walker Hayes is a fan of '90s country. He named a song after it, for crying out loud! He's also a master at transforming himself into that era's heroes, having successfully staged album covers by John Michael Montgomery, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and others—inserting himself into the picture with overall stunningly effective results.

He truly saved the best one for last (and just in time for Halloween, too), however, posing provocatively as '90s goddess Shania Twain on her landmark Come On Over album, complete with a pout and a red outfit.

Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard's Baby Girl Has, Count 'Em, Two Cars

While Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard's wife, Hayley, is indisputably driving a nice ride these days, social media is proving that someone else in the family truly is flossing. The Hubbard's baby daughter, Olivia, has not one but two cars, and they look just about as nice as her mom's!

The cars, of course, are child-sized and—although automated—run at child-speed. Which is a good thing, as Olivia isn't a year old yet. But, based on Hubbard's documentation they are just as stylish as the real deal.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Dress Up Cute for Kids' Halloween Party

The pair didn't matchy-match their outfits, but instead made a fetching couple with Shelton posing as a "drunken sailor" and a red-wigged Stefani as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The party, which Stefani documented on her Instagram stories, was packed with kids in full Halloween gear—including Stefani's three sons, who were dressed as a pirate, Spongebob Squarepants and a werewolf, respectively. The action was centered around children's activities, but appeared to be lots of fun for the grownups, too.

Brad Paisley and His Wife Opening Free Grocery Store in Nashville

Brad Paisley and his wife have teamed with Belmont University to open a groundbreaking new free grocery store in Nashville.

The space is called the Store, and it was inspired by a Thanksgiving season they spent in California with their young sons, when Kimberly Williams-Paisley thought were acting spoiled. She decided to teach them by example by having the entire family volunteer at the Unity Shoppe in Santa Barbara, which provides groceries to people in need. They came away convinced that a similar idea would be beneficial in Nashville, and Paisley — who is the president of the Store's board of trustees — says part of what separates the Store from a typical food bank is the atmosphere.

Fans who arrived at Chicago's Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on Saturday were still surprised, however, to find signs telling them that opening act "Turnpike Troubadours will not perform tonight due to unforeseen circumstances."
